Harmony and Stewardship

February 3rd, 2010 by Alan | No Comments | Filed in About the Books, People

A part of the mission of  the Harmony Series is to help each person come to their own conclusion about the responsibility of humanity to serve as a steward of the Universe.

It will please me greatly if after reading the books readers feel that stewardship is a fidicuary relationship, that humanity is one of the races that are responsible for managing part of the Universe, which we obviously do not own.

Edward Everett Hale, an American author an Unitarian minister inspired part of Jon’s character when he wrote,

I am only one.
But still I am one.
I cannot do everything, but still I can do something.
And, because  I cannot do everything I will not refuse to do the something that I can do.

Part of my feeling that humanity is a steward of the universe was inspired by Kennon L. Callahan, a Baptist minister in his book Giving and Stewardship in an Effective Church.  He wrote “Living is giving. We live life best as we give our strengths, gifts, and competencies in the service of God’s mission. We are called to serve, not survive. Our giving makes a difference in our families, our work, our community, our world, and . . . .”

I feel strongly about the words, “We are called to serve, not survive,” as being part of the mission of humanity, and I would conclude Rev. Callahan’s quote with , . . . “our Universe.”

These words of Albert Schweizer, a physician who received the 1952 Nobel Peace Prize in 1953 for his philosophy of “Reverence for Life” made a statement that I feel relates to the responsibility of each person to be a steward to others:  “At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us.” I would extend this quote by adding, “. . . and when our light is burning strong, pass along our light to others in need.”

I trust that my feeling about stewardship is conveyed in the books of the Harmony series.

More than Five Senses

January 18th, 2010 by Alan | No Comments | Filed in About the Books

Human beings tend to think that there are five senses. The Varinen (unicorns), some plants and other animals acknowledge these senses:

  1. Sight – the ability to perceive information with the eyes or hornu
  2. Smell – the ability to perceive the odor of something
  3. Hearing -the ability to perceive auditory information
  4. Taste – the sensation of flavor that is perceived in a mouth when an object is placed in it.
  5. Touch – perceiving sensory information through physical contact
  6. Telepathy – communication with life forms without any of the above five senses
  7. Time – the ability to perceive the progress of existence and events in the past, present, and future in any or all of the 13 known universes
  8. Intuition/Magic – The ability to glean information or assert a change in an object, person, animal, etc. by using a sound, or object of power
  9. Glow – The ability to glean and transmit information about a life form by observing an aura that is not visible with sight.
  10. Vibe – The ability to glean and convey information about a life form or other object through its universal vibration frequency, particularly when that frequency can not be perceived through the first nine senses.

Definitions and Insights (Glossary)

January 18th, 2010 by Alan | No Comments | Filed in About the Books, Research

Following are some of the words and concepts that are in common usage throughout the thirteen universes of Harmony:

glow - (1) n.  The sense that enables a life form to detect the presence or absence of a soul.   Human beings do not have the sense of glow.  Other beings, such as Vrainen and many plants, do possess this sense. (2) n. The outward evidence that a soul or souls, is in residence within a physical presence.

hornu – n. -the spot on a Vrainen that appears where the horn would be when the vrainen is in human or other non-vrainen form.  Generally, this patch is very light and hard to distinguish without touching it.

membre – n.  A physical entity who is powered by a non-unique soul.  A member is similar to a sibling, but it a different relationship because membres have the same soul in residence.  In this paragraph “Illusions will be enough membre, responded Karta-Me. Quite. She paused. Best to make them powerful, so they will not be questioned. Do whatever is necessary; the fate of the Universe …” Karta-me and Darstan are membres because they both have the same soul in residence.  Yet, they are two different physical beings.  If the soul is strong enough, it could exist in several more life forms, including possibly, a plant.  Each of these physical beings would be a membre.

selected mortality – Vrainen, and other life forms, are immortal, but many have a one-time option where they can age, or pass away.  Once mortality is selected, it can not be reversed.

twink - n. The physical boundary that separates a life form from other life forms.  This can be an epidermis (plants, humans, etc.) or a the membrane of a cell, or the outward wave of an electron.  See also The Eight-Fold Way of the Universe.

twinkscape – n.  (1) A web, made of energy projection, resembling a spider web to humans, that allows viewers to exchange messages at speeds up to 1 billion times the speed of light. (2) Information that has been stored in twinkscape format for repeated viewing.

Vrainen – n. (1) The name for the race that are similar to unicorns. Varien can also appear in mostly human form. The Vrainen are an ancient race that are immortal. (2) An individual vrainen.  The vrainen carefully climbed the mountain trail.

Web of All Existence – n.  (1) The physical and spiritual relationship of all life forms to each other.

Questions Addressed in the Harmony Series

January 17th, 2010 by Alan | No Comments | Filed in About the Books

Here are some of the questions that I’m addressing in the Harmony series.

  • What are ways to live in harmony with the Earth and the Universe?
  • What is evil?
  • Does evil reside within each person?
  • Is there such as thing as an evil force?
  • If evil is present in each person, can someone or something aggregate the evil in many people and use it destructively?
  • If evil is a force, how can it be defeated
  • If it is possible to aggregate evil, how is this done?
  • If evil is aggregated, how can that aggregation be reversed?

Welcome to Harmony

January 14th, 2010 by Alan | No Comments | Filed in About the Books, The End of All Times

Harmony is an assemblage of books that foster living in Harmony with oneself and with the Universe. The End of All Times, for example, conveys the concept that humanity had better get in harmony with the Universe, or our stay is limited, and in geological time, will soon end.

Harmony123 is an assemblage of books, interviews, and other resources, many of which are written or conducted by Alan H. Jordan. Collectively, they offer solutions for how to live in harmony, with yourself, other people and the Universe.  These include books for children and adults.

JIGS Up Series – One for the Road – The first book where you get an opportunity to met a zany cast of characters who both solve and prevent murders and in the process discover a deeper appreciation for the world as a place to respect.  Sign up to receive previews.

The End of All Times. Darstan and Karta-me are on a sacred mission to stop the depletion of energy from The Creator, or are they? Their mission, as they understand it, is to stop the spawning of new universes, destroy existing universes and re-channel the reclaimed energy to the Source. The only problem is that in the process they are destroying almost all life.

The End of All Times is both a thriller and a book that explores the potentials of consciousness, the soul and the relationship of humankind to the Earth and the Universe.

Religious & Spiritual Philosophy

The End of All Times will treat every religious belief with respect. It embraces and explores the points of view of Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism and other religions. The points of view of Agnostics and Atheists are also be explored.  Each person is left to draw their own conclusions about the nature of God.

Why The End of All Times will Change the World for the Better

Very simply, it makes people think as the “survivors” seek out answers to questions like:

  • Where to these people go?
  • Are we living through the rapture?
  • As mankind starts to see humanity’s relationship to the Earth and the Universe in a different light, will humanity change its ways?

It turns out that the people who vanish do not die. They are transported to a parallel universe. It is similar to Earth in the 1600s, with one exception. There are no people except those who are transported there.

Some of the questions to be answered by this group of “survivors” are:

  • Why was I chosen?
  • Given that we have all of our knowledge, but are living in an unspoiled universe, will humanity duplicate its mistakes, or start over fresh?

Harry Potter doesn’t even know how famous he is. Everyone in the wizard world knows his name because of an evil wizard named Voldamort that failed to kill him. His parents were killed and he was left with a lightning-bolt scar. Because of his parents death he was forced to live with his mean, cruel Uncle, Aunt, and their son Dudley.I found this book to be very mystical and adventurous. It was a great selection and I enjoyed it very much. In conclusion, I loved this piece and I suggest it to anyone who wants a world full of magic and adventure.
