Scribbles on an ATM statement. I'm always writing.

As you can see from looking at the picture on the left, I’m always writing, even when I have to squeeze my writing onto a small bank receipt.

The main passion in my life has been writing.  From age 13 when I became the editor of The Freemark Observer a newsletter that I prepared for Joan Freemark AZA, in Philadelphia, PA writing has been a core part of my life. I fall back on writing when I’m tired, bored or trying to make sense of the world. I can’t help it, I’m always jotting down something, even when all I’ve got is a small receipt from a bank deposit. I write when I need to escape. I write when I need to understand a process. I write for artistic reasons. I write to have something in common with other writers and artists. I write to relax. I write to share my values. I write to write. I have never stopped writing, and I probably never will.

I also have a passion for software engineering, developing computer programs.  As a consultant, I worked on many projects for companies ranging from small businesses to large multi-national companies such as Hewlett-Packard, VISA, and Synthes.  You’ll definitely see the influences of my software development days throughout the Harmony series.

The goals of the Harmony series are to improve the way that humanity in general treats the Earth, and beyond that, improve the way that it will treat other worlds that we may colonize.

Enjoy the book and the game!
